The Miami River Inn is located across the river from downtown. It is convenient if you are going to the Seybold building for business, but NOT on a cruise. The Inn bills itself as a Bed and Breakfast, but then informs you that 'breakfast" begins at 8:30AM, well after the time any business traveler would need to be served. No... more

This was the worst hotel I have ever been in. On our arrival, my friend and I noticed it looked nothing like the pictures online. The hotel is in fact in Little Havana!!! The guy at the desk was pleasant and showed us too our room. Once in our room we looked it over and realized that the shower was... more

I guess the the Miami River Inn is a decent place for short stays for budget-conscious travelers who don't intend to spend too much time in their hotel room. When we arrived in the hotel, we were very disappointed by our room which was neither pretty nor comfortable. In any case, the room we were assigned did not look at... more

We recently stayed at the Miami River Inn for one night before leaving on a cruise. I would definitely recommend it and would love to go back again. After reading the mix of previous reviews, and considering how much lower the cost was to stay here, I wasn't sure what to expect. We were more than satisfied. We drove down... more

My husband and I just returned from the Miami River Inn and we found it to be a lovely, peaceful oasis in the hubbub of Miami. The surroundings were lovely and the room was clean and cozy. We are experienced with bed and breakfast inns and this one was very nice. A wonderful cat greeted us and made us feel... more

I wrote the following review last year and I stand by it. We stayed here again this year and we were just as satisfied as in years past. We have been returning to the Miami River Inn for so many years, we can't not remember exactly how many. Its the only place in Miami I would consider staying. The courtyard... more

The pictures on the website are nothing like what the Miami River Inn really looks like. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we were not impressed to say the least. Upon entering the room, the first thing we noticed were the dirty and stained pillows and bedspread. When we asked for more pillows and... more

A cluster of houses surrounds a pool with a tropical garden - oasis-like in downtown Miami. The breakfasts were uninspiring, but the wonderful room, pleasant and accommodating staff, and security with the gated premises and parking lot more than made up for them. The houses are quaint but our room and bath (in the main house) were very roomy and... more

The Miami River Inn may truly be the only bed and breakfast in Miami, but that does NOT make it a nice place to stay. Upon arrival, I was quick to notice that the Inn is centrally located in the middle of the ghetto in downtown Miami. The entire Inn is enclosed with an ugly fence to keep out the... more
