Enough good things have been said about this Intercontinental, and I'm in agreement with them. If you like mega-hotels that can hold large conferences, this is the place. I planned and hosted a conference at the hotel and was very impressed with the accomodations and the staff. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and the hotel is gorgeous. Stayed one night pre-cruise. Could see our ship from the hotel. Beautiful views of the bay from the hotel poolside bar. Short walk to Bayside area - lots of shops and restaurants. Short cab ride to ship in morning. Felt very safe in area - even walking through park at night. more
