Now I know where the words RITZY comes from. I stayed at the ritz with my brother, sister and two nephews for 6 nights. It was simply marvelous. The rooms were extra clean the bathrooms were extra big. The salt water pool was perfect. The sushi bar was good and of course the world famous frozen mojitos at the ritz... more

The Ritz Carlton was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The service was incredible and the rooms were kept very clean. The staff was incredibly sweet and if you are to eat outside by the pool, ask for the waiter called John. He served us many times and was the best waiter you could ask for.... more

I will make this short and to the point. Nice location - gorgeous lobby - SMALL rooms. Rooms feel old and sticky. Had the buffet in the morning for breakfast. One of the worst selections and quality I have ever had. "Partial Ocean-View" means a view of the neighboring a/c units and roof. Not at all impressed. With so many... more

One of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Started on day 1 and got worse each day. My husband and I were staying there with my in-laws and my sister in law to celebrate a 60th birthday for 5 days. We had booked 3 sea view rooms 2 months in advance but none of us got sea view rooms... more

We had a girl's weekend at the Ritz in June. The Hotel is nice, but I was expecting a WOW factor being the Ritz. The Rooms are standard size, the bathrooms are huge for a standard room. We loved how close the beach was to our hotel. simply beautiful. Pool service was top notch. The only problem -It was very... more

Visited the Ritz Carlton last week for a 7 night stay and had a truly great time. Hotel is in a fantastic location, beach front hotel and five minute walk to the main part of Ocean Drive. Hotel is big but not too large. Great bar and restaurants – albeit a bit pricey for lunch and the menu was quite... more

I was shocked by the property from the moment we drove up to it. It looked like an apartment building from the outside and from the inside, I would say it's not much nicer than a fancy Marriott. We were lucky enough to get an Junior Suite upgrade. The view was nothing spectular. The staff is very hit or miss.... more

The Ritz South Beach, as expected, is a beautiful and comfortable hotel. What made our stay a five star experience was the extra effort put in by the pool staff. We travelled with a four year old so we spent a great deal of time at the pool. The staff was very attentive and always went out of their way... more

The reviews here are mixed as the service is mixed. We have stayed at this property no less than 5 times. The front desk can be wonderful or dreadful; the pool service can be efficient or non existant, and the maid service can be prompt or delayed. The breakfast buffet is always great. During our last visit we experienced constant... more

Reading through previous reviews we were on the fence about whether or not to stay here because of the level of service. This place has the absolute most attentive staff anywhere. We have stayed at other Ritz Carlton's and this one is the best! The conceirge can get you into any restaurant at the last minute. They even provided transportation... more
