We stayed 6 nights and generally had a great time. There is nothing drastically wrong with this resort and the criticisms I will mention are not going to ruin your stay; they just outline the difference between the moderate and deluxe hotels at WDW. First and most annoying, the only way to get anywhere is by bus. Yes, there is... more

My family and I stayed 6 nights at Port Orleans Riverside during April school break, along with several other families from our town/area. Our daughter's dance company was performing at the Magic Kingdom during that week. As this was a large group travel situation, a travel agent coordinated the entire trip for us. Our stay at Port Orleans Riverside was... more

Just returned from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside. We would recommend this hotel for short stays but we stayed for 14 nights and that was far too long. The rooms were big but not the beds for two adults used to a double bed in England this felt bit small. Regardless of previous reviews we found it to be clean and... more

After reading some of the reviews, I was very apprehensive to stay at the Port Orleans Riverside, but it was a wonderful experience. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are nice. There were four in our room: my husband and I and my Mom and Dad and we had enough room. They are not grand, but you are not... more

We just got back from staying at this resort for 8 days. Myself, hubby and 5 year old son. We loved this resort. Although we have nothing to compare it to because it's our first trip to Disney but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Next time we may try somewhere different just to see what other resorts are... more

Recently stayed 3 nights with three kids 6 and under. Moderate Disney resorts are definitely a step up from economy level. Rooms are bigger and grounds much nicer. Worth the extra money. This hotel is very cozy. Lots of greenery along trails. Blocks of rooms are lodge style and feel much less motel like. Rooms are large - one of... more

April 2007 6 nights. Me-37 Hubby-44 Daughter-5 AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! We had the times of our lives. This resort is huge, to us that's a plus. The grounds were so beautiful we enjoyed the walk to breakfast every morning. We live in Vegas, a desert. So to see all kinds of birds, rabbits, lizards was a treat. Not to mention... more

This was my 2nd trip to Riverside and will stay again! This time I stayed in the Oak Manor building. We rented a car so we drove up to the building. The check in process was great; the clerk was very friendly and welcoming. The directions to the building was fine but when you walk up to the building we... more

The resort grounds are beautiful. The rooms aren't! The outside looks like a beautiful plantation home, but the rooms are more like a cheap motel! The housekeeping service did not clean the rooms well. The front desk was inept, making errors with our reservation. The resort grounds are beautiful, but too spread out. It is a very long walk to... more
