We have just returned from our holiday in Naples Florida. We were returning to the UK via Orlando so the night before the flight we drove up from Naples. On checking TA for hotels we decided on the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and were certainly not disappointed. It is a lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings. If you can afford... more

We arrived at 10 pm and managed to get a nice pool view room at no extra charge (more probable if you check in late we heard and it seem to be true). The room was small for the price and dated as others mentioned, but we didn't care since most of our time will be spent outside. We just... more

I have spent 100+ nights in this hotel over the years and they do a good job at keeping it consistent. It is starting to show some wear & tear and if you have a phobia around little kids DON’T STAY HERE! I ate in both Hemmingway’s & the steak restaurant and I was a little disappointed in the service... more

What a great place! We were on the 16th floor, great view from the large room. The staff were great, as was the gym and pool - they have 3 running routes, which I used, and a lovely nature walk (bring bug spray!) We ate in their sushi resturant, which was very good indeed. The atruim of the hotel is... more

Despite living less than 30 miles from the Grand Cypress we have stayed there for quite ‘get-away’ weekends several times. Essentially a family resort it also offers pleasant walks, an Equestrian Center, several themed cocktail bars, coffee shop and two restaurants. There is also a ‘Chef’s Table’ where you eat in the kitchen while Chefs demonstrate the preparation and cooking... more

The Hyatt Grand Cypress resort in Orlando is one of the best resort stays we have ever had. The resort is beautifully decorated in Asian motif's, with a beautiful spacious lobby, helpful and courteous staff, clean comfortable rooms, and a wide range of activities to do at a reasonable price. For a small daily activity fee, the resort provides Pitch... more

Stayed one night at this place. The staff was very friendly, but everything costs too much. Internet hook up was $11.99. Bottled water was $4.95. Valet parking was $19 (which the valet doesn't tell you; you have to look for the little sign in the corner). No complementary breakfast. All this for $240 a night. For comparison, I stayed at... more

Great resort hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Food great in Hemingway's bar. Not so great at the White Horse. Try and get a deal that includes the buffet breakfast. You'll have to drive/cab anywhere from here if you want to eat out, the driveway from the road is probably further than most would want to walk. Downtown Disney is very... more

Perfect stay at the Grand Cypress! You will be greeted at the gated entrance by a smile. You will then drive up to the hotel entrance and asked your name. As you walk into the hotel they will greet you by name. The lobby is grand. Ask for a room facing Epcot, as you will be able to view Epcot... more

Stayed here as part of a family trip to Florida to celebrate our wedding. We wanted somewhere slightly upmarket to recover from the flight, close enough to Seaworld and shopping, before we hit the madness that is Disney! As you enter the resort it is easy to feel you are slightly away from it all. We received a great welcome... more
