This is an excellent hotel and an exceptional value. The hotel generally exceeds Marriott's standards for cleanliness, convenience, and friendliness of the staff. The rooms are quiet and clean. The breakfast is outstanding with the usual Fairfield Inn fare - waffles, bagels, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, toast, a variety of cereals, and a choice of drinks. A minor maintenance problem... more
I recently completed a brief stay here. I found it very comfortable for a limited service hotel. It was clean, and the general level of housekeeping seemed high. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It's very convenient to I-10 and there are chain restaurants (Steak and Ale and OCharlies) nearby. I felt very safe there. more
We stayed for two nights with our two small children and I say stayed, because there is no sleeping there! It is RIGHT next to a "Firestone Tire Shop" and they leave stadium bright lights on ALL night. My 3 year old at 1:00 AM, went to the window to show me that it was wake up time. I stayed here to be close to The University of West Florida for an exam. Several things were dissapointing. Firstly, the indoor pool was very cloudy and did not look swimable. Secondly, the shower had several hairs in it from not being cleaned well. The most disturbing was the overall location. It was the worse part of town and there... more
We spent 2 nights and I was pleasantly surprised. Because of the low price I was expecting a very minimal room. The king bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows. The room was spacious and very clean. After a day of travelling we were so happy to see The Steak and Ale House just 2 doors down. Had a... more
I spent hours online comparing prices, locations, and reviews for the hotels in the Pensacola area. My husband and I have never been to this area, as we vacation in Orange Beach each year, but our kids were flying in from Fort Worth and we wanted to be close to the airport the morning they flew in. We finally decided... more
Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. Beds were small but very comfy. Their site advetised a heated indoor pool, which was the deciding factor when I booked our trip. The water was freezing. Even my 2 1/2 yr old said it was "cold mommy". Also, pool was very small.. not sure why they would even bother with having a... more
This hotel is a bargain! I stay there anytime I'm in Pensacola. Includes, indoor access to rooms for better security, indoor pool, great staff, nice lounge, and close to interstate. more
Very nice hotel for the price. The indoor pool was a definate plus!! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to extend our stay when our flight home was canceled due to weather in NYC. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was enjoyable too. more
