This is a modest hotel with an incredible location--right on the beach at Pass-a-Grille. Close to the area's best-known restaurants (Seahorse Cafe and the Hurricane) and shops. The property is a bit crowded and dated. But the staff is very accommodating and the rates are reasonable. I recommend it for people who plan to spend quiet, quality time hanging out... more

I stayed at the Sabal Palms Aug 13-16. The room (unit 7)was very clean. The man on duty(I am sorry I dont know your name--Not Joe) was super friendly and helpful. He made sure I had clean sheets for the futon and gave me a clean blanket when I took the extra down to the beach. Our bathroom sink had a... more

It was so quiet and peaceful....we love staying at Sabal Palms. Joe is always so gracious. It is kind of like going home. Hopefully we will be able to go back in Sept or October. Great value.... this is the 4th year we have been able to go. My greatest wish is to go and be able to stay for... more

I enjoyed my stay at the Sabal Palms. I stayed in small room number 8, which was on the back side of the hotel without beach views. That was fine with me because I just wanted a place to sleep, shower, and eat after relaxing outdoors in peaceful Pass A Grill. The pool is small. Though I didn't use it,... more

After reading all of the glowing reviews, our group of 4 women decided to spend our yearly vacation at Sabal Palms Inn. Upon arriving, however, we were very disappointed to find our accomodations were not what we were told. We communicated with Joe, the manager, repeatedly by email. We requested a room that slept 4 teachers. Confusion came when we... more

We found the Sabal Palms to be a delightful place to spend a vacation on the Gulf of Mexico, which was actually right across the street! We witnessed magnificent sunsets, saw dolphins cresting the water, pelicans and other birds galore, very clean beaches and used the trolley service to see other sites. We heard someone had seen a manatee a... more

My wife's family has visited this place for years. The beach is beautiful, and is right across the street. It is very "beachy" and surrounded by lots of touristy stores and really great restaurants. They have free bikes, a really nice heated pool with bubbling jets. An older place, but it has lots of beach feel and atmosphere. Very convenient... more

We stayed for a week and had no complaints. This is the perfect place to get away from the the northeast. The Inn is very clean, friendly and a good location. Pass a grille is quiet and not crowded. Have already requested a week for next year. more
