Location is excellent!!! Right in front of the beach (across the street). We had a gulf view room and you can watch the sunset from your balcony. The beach (sand) is not as nice as Siesta key, but still nice. The water is clean and clear... and WARM! We went swimming at 7am to avoid the hot July sun and... more

We paid in advance and got a good deal through the website. Very nice room with a gulf view and my wife and i think it was recently renovated. Hotel was laid back with a nice pool and bar @ pool. The beach is right across the street and you are with in walking distance (10min) to a small downtown... more

The hotel is a bit dated but is clean and in a great position. The staff work all day ensuring everything is as it should be From this hotel you can walk to St. Armand Circle where there are some great bars and restaurants. The pool area is small but never overcrowded and there are plenty of fresh towels We... more

After reading the reviews, we decided to book this hotel anyway. We came in expecting small, outdated, perhaps even shabby, and small rooms. However, the price, location right on the beach, and the ability to walk to St. Armand's circle sounded like a good trade-off. The only negative reviews which I agree with are those which mention the room size.... more

Other remarks regarding the room conditions are true--based on our gulfside room, the bathroom was truly in need of renovation. That being said, our room was extremely clean and the view was spectacular. By and large, the dining room/front desk staff was extremely pleasant! Heather at the pool bar does a super job, despite the shortage of staff. The shuttle... more

May i say the location of the hotel is great as you look onto the Gulf Coast, the negetaives were getting ripped off as far as the breakfast package was concerned. Also the service around the pool was poor as there was a shortage of staff and it took an eternity to get served for drinks as well as food. The rooms were... more

Right on the edge of the ocean, ask for an ocean view with balcony and you can watch the sunset from your room. Hotel supplies towels, beach chairs and anything else you want. Walking distance to Armand Circle (take the back route thru hotel car park, it's much shorter). more

I made the mistake of requesting my vacation time off first before I picked a hotel. I would not have picked this place if I had planned better. I read trip advisor before I picked this hotel and saw that some people said that the king bed gulf view balcony room on the ends of the halls had small rooms....... more

My mom and I booked 4 nights here. We left after 2. Yes- the view was great of the gulf. But really- cheap plastic balcony chairs - enough said. The decor in the room looked as if were left over from a frat house. There was little hot water in the shower- which I did report and maintenance did come... more

Just returned from a 4 night stay. We had a king with a gulf view. The room was adequate in size, but be aware, there are 3 different king size rooms that we saw. Try not to get a corner room - it is the smallest. The bathrooms are not big and the water pressure was low. The room however... more
