This was my second visit to this lovely bed and breakfast tucked into a beautiful wooded area of Georgia. We were greeted as welcomed guests and treated to all the comforts of home. The rooms are spacious and offer luxurious comfort. The dining room staff makes the dining experience memorable and so very pleasant. Food was fresh and fabulous!! Anyone... more

After much research into many options, our daughter chose Glen Ella Bed and Breakfast for her "Weekend Wedding". The event brought families as far away as California and Conneticut , and friends from Texas to North Carolina. Many asked "What will there be to do all weekend at a mountain retreat so far off of the beaten path?" - they... more

My husband and I just got married at Glen-Ella and it was a terrific weekend. The owners Ed and Lucy could not have been more welcoming and accomadating to our family. This is a wonerful place to relax and eat amazing food. My favorite detail about Glen-Ella that sets it apart from other B&B is that the rooms open to... more

This is a charming B&B nestled in the North Georgia mountain area. The owners, who recently purchased the property, were engaging, helpful, warm and incredibly customer oriented. They have made wonderful changes and their roadmap for the future of Glen Ella sounds like it will only improve an already-wonderful vacation spot. The area is quaint and there is much to... more

We were driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway from Virginia to Georgia, and plucked the phone number of the Glen Ella Springs Inn off of a local map one rainy night. My oh my, were we in for a treat! The inn appeared like a mirage through our windshield wipers -- quaint charm and gentle luxury perfectly blended together. The... more

This well off the beaten path down a gravel road, but a pleasurable spot to relax. Cell phone coverage is poor and there are no in room televisions which makes it a peaceful get away. Excellent service and facilities. The area surrounding the inn is gorgeous as it sits right at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Breakfasts are... more

We just spent a very relaxing 4th July weekend with the new owners of this bed and breakfast. The room was superb and the inn was great. The food, both at breakfast and during the evening in the restaurant was great. I put on an extra 4 pounds. The inn masters and the staff was great. Very personable and always... more

We recently spent a weekend at the Glen-Ella Springs Inn in Clarksville. We have been going there almost every year since it opened 20 yrs ago. The Aycocks have done a beautiful job restoring it and making the restaurant one of the best in Ga. We were sad to learn that they had just recently sold it. They were great... more

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay again at Glen-Ella Springs Inn. As the new owners, it is important to us that we carry on the tradition of hospitality that has been a hallmark of this historic 133-year old Inn. We welcome all guests, whether here for a leisure getaway, wedding, business meeting or retreat (religious or otherwise). We look...

We spent two nights at Glen-Ella. We dropped off our child at a nearby summer camp, and decided to spend a few days in the mountains. Glen-Ella is off the beaten track, but easy to find. Dinner there was excellent (they do serve wine now). Breakfast on Friday was not buffet (perhaps because of fewer guests) but eggs/omelets to order.... more
