My family and I were looking for a great place to stay on our trip to Idaho Falls, Idaho and we struck gold in the Shilo Inn Suites. Not only was our room spacious and clean, but the staff was incredibly friendly, including the manager, Stacey, who personally greeted guests at the front desk upon check in. The hotel had... more

This hotel needs some updating and a deep clean. The floors in the public area and even in the room appeared dirty. A lot of the woodwork, for example around the doors is very used and worn. The laundry facilities were horrible - the washers washed poorly and I gave the driers 4 cycles of coins and my clothes still... more

First, the positive things about this property. It has a back door to the Snake River falls area in the downtown of Idaho Falls. Very convinient for a jog/walk along a beautiful paved path that loops about 3 miles. There are several good restaraunts within a half mile (recommend the Brownstone for fresh eats and good microbrews). The room includes... more

I recently stayed at this motel, and it is undergoing renovations. Unfortunately the Shilo Inn prioritized these renovations above the care of its guests. All of the guest entrance doors were locked for the renovations. This meant walking from the far end of the snowy and icy parking lot to the office door (the only entrance available), and then walking... more

My whole family stayed at this hotel over Thanksgiving for my cousin's wedding. The rooms were large and clean - ours was massive (2x the size of most rooms) - although our other family members had more average sized rooms. We had a very nice view overlooking the Snake River. As most of us were out of town, we ended... more

This past weekend I held a flyfishing and fly tying trip for 7 disabled veterans. We floated the South Fork and had a great time. The trip however wouldn't have been possible without the Shilo Inn and their Staff. We had a veteran who lost his legs and needed an accessible room. Stacy Mason (Shilo manager) bent over backwords to... more

We arrived early, they had no trouble with early check in, we had used an online booking service because it was cheaper than the hotel's website, expecting the usual disdain reserved for discount customers at the front desk we were delighted to be treated like valued guests instead. Front desk staff was expert and enthusiastic. Our room (non-smoking king) was... more

The room was absolutely disgusting! There was long dog hair all over and the shower had mold in it. The breakfast the next morning had very little to choose from! The food was cold and the service was slow. I would rather have driven another 4 hours than stayed at this hotel! more

Shilo is a great place to stay in idaho falls. My room was clean, breakfast was good, and i had a riverview from my room. Just a note about the restaurant staff. As i was sitting on my balcony i saw some people sitting outside the restaurant shooting a sign with some kind of pellet or bb gun. I immediately... more
