My first trip back to Chicago in about 7 years was perfect! I chose the Knickerbocker as I had read that their rooms were recently renovated on top of being a great location to Michigan Avenue, Rush Street and downtown Chicago. I must say I was very impressed with the guestrooms! I had not stayed there prior but it definitely... more

Nice Hotel GREAT ROOMS! the bathroom and beds were both 5 star The hotel does not have a fitness facility or a pool...so I am not sure why it received 4 stars. This is in a Great Location in Chicago....across from the Drake, but there were other many other hotels nearby....Hilton Suites was next door, Residence Inn across from there... more

Arrived to check in at 6:00PM. I was traveling with 2 other people and had reserved a room with double beds. Upon arrival we were told no rooms with double beds were available; however, we would be given a suite with 1 king bed and a couch which folds out into a bed. We agreed. The room had one king... more

Millennium Knickerbocker exceeded my expectations. Yes, I asked for a renovated room. I was told that all rooms were now renovated. I asked if an upgrade was possible since I was staying for 6 nights. They were able to accomodate and we got a mini-suite-new, clean barely used. The first room we saw was also renovated but was a standard... more

This is a great old hotel. The rooms are small as you see in all historic hotels, but it has a lot of charm, a happening bar, and a wonderful location. This is a great place for a romanatic Chicago getaway. more

i got 2 nights at Knickerbocker Chicago on hotwire. last week I got a newly renovated room on 10th floor - very nice & quiet & compact. I could see the beach front from my window I thought the staff were excellent and enjoyed my stay. Providing you get a new room, it's one of the best locations in the... more

I'm sure the Millennium Knickerbocker was once a nice hotel. Even one of the nicest, in its heyday. It's a good thing they're doing renovations... Although I was staying for 6 days, they were not able to accommodate my request for a renovated room. The hallway on the third floor smelled funky. My bedsheet had a big pink stain on... more

The Millenium Knickerbocker was a nice hotel, but definitely not the best deal for your dollar in Chicago. It has the feel of one of the nicer chains, but it definitely needs so remodeling. I love the historic features and tales of the hotel that the staff will share with you. And guest rooms were a decent size but could... more

I had a rough time getting to Chicago and stayed my first night at the Hilton Suites (Very Nice). Overall my trip wasn't great. The staff at the Knickerbocker however, made me want to return to this hotel and Chicago. I experienced doorman, room service, housekeeping, front desk, catering, and managers. Each one was very nice, attentive, and accomodating. They... more
