The hotel advertised services, the availability of which was a determinant in my decision to stay there. The hotel did not deliver said services. I was at the hotel because I was doing business in the area. Pursuant to that, I needed an internet connection. The hotel advertised that it provided said connection (the Days Inn Melrose Park website verifies... more

Arrived at this hotel by mistake while having a reservation at a different Days Inn near to O'Hare. While on renovation the hotel looked quite clean.I dealt with very nice front desk people who were very helpful.Room was clean and at the end I thought I got a great deal for the quality of the room and services.I just came across... more

This has to be a viable candidate for the worst hotel in the US. Arrived here after midnight in a terrible storm after getting stuck at O'Hare with thousands of others because of weather. Consequently, no hotel rooms around and this was one of the few hotels with space. I soon found out why they still had vacancies. Dirty bed... more

I can not believe that Days Inn doesn't condem the place to protect their name. Rooms looked to be in the condition of an abandoned home, nothing was safe and when I told the front desk that there were problems, she asked if I would like to check out. The breakfast did include waffles....the frozen kind out of a box... more

I was put in this hotel by American Airlines at 11:00 at night. I have never been so scared in my life. The place had a stinch unlike any other and needs to be torn down. They also charged me an additional $10 to have a non-smoking room and called it an upgrade fee. The airport chair would have been... more

This hotel is horrible!! We actually only booked it because the good rates we got for the hotel we were in, didn't apply for that day, and we needed a hotel close to the airport for our last day in Chicago. It started bad, checking in was an awful experience. The man who I spoke to, was rude, unpolite and... more

please avoid, lets start with the airport shuttle(a joke)you phone and they tell you on the hour every hour at zone 3,what they do not tell you to do is to look for the Super8 van from the same road it serves both motels, they suppose to be renovating the place but after finding all the creepy-crawlies in the bathroom the place... more

I didn't know something like this could really exist. The only reason I can see for it existing is that Chicago is SO expensive, that to get a room at an affordable price you have to sleep in a place like this. The staff was not rude, but the place was just too dirty. The carpet seemed to be coated... more

This was the WORST hotel, I have EVER been to! Disgusting. The rooms were disgusting, food was nasty, the bar area had some rediculous karaoke going on and all the people there seemed like a bunch of [--] and crack addicts. DONT EVEN THINK OF STAYING HERE. You have better chance at a MOTEL with a one star rating.. YUK!!!!... more

This hotel was totally unhygienic. The carpets were grubby and instead of being red were BLACK. It smelt everywere of dirt. It advertised that it had a restaurant and offered breakfast. First night at the restaurant it hosted a wedding, second night it held a woman's convention and the 3rd night it was closed!!! Breakfast was 'dunkin doughnuts', white bread... more
