Where do I start? The week before Thanksgiving I called The Stone Soup Inn and booked a loft room with a private bath for three nights. I gave them a cc to hold the room, and they said they would take out half the cost, which I agreed to. So far so good, right? After a couple of days I... more

A really wonderful experience! A quiet, pleasant place to stay, and very cost-effective. Very clean, well-maintained, and quaint. Located in the Old Northside of Indianapolis, 2 miles from Downtown, in a very quiet, tree-lined neighborhood of historic homes. The house has primarily an Arts & Crafts motif, and has extensive collection of antique furniture, most of which is very functional... more

Except for the key problem stated below, this was an exceptional little B&B. If they fix that problem, you should really try this out! Just the Facts: When making reservations I was asked for my arrival time. As we were doing some sightseeing, I did not have a much better idea than "sometime between 1p.m. and 7 p.m." They called... more

I JUST got back from staying there and thought (for the price especially) that this was a very, very dirty hotel. I travel to 1 star hotels.. I have ever seem one like this. The owner don't really care about the living condition at all. more

we stayed at the stone soup inn the weekend of the Indy mini marathon. This was our first half marathon and our first stay at a bed and breakfast. We loved both experiences. It was more like staying at a friend's house than it was a motel. The caretakers made us feel very welcome and were very helpful but unobtrusive.... more

We stayed at Stone Soup for our anniversary the weekend of August 20, 2004 and it was very relaxing to say the least. We stayed in the Northwest Loft on the third floor and we felt we were separated away from it all, which was what we wanted. It was very private with a large bath and very comfy bed... more
