We stayed at the Knights Inn November 2, 2007. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but canceled the second night because the rooms were so bad. Just this month during; we booked several rooms for our family event that was in South Bend. This “motel” was a cheap and well-situated property. We just need a place to put our heads and the employees were than helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone who wants an inexpensive night in South Bend. more

We were forced to stay here for the first night of a wedding weekend in May 2004 - it was probably one of the most disgusting hotels I've ever stayed in - but that's fairly typical for big 10 college towns, we've found.
