We wanted a hotel close to the airport for an early morning flight. We have stayed at Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites and almost all of the chains. My favorite had been Homewood Suites. Our room was a delux room, which had two recliners. Any suite we have rented has had a couch, that's usually uncomfortable and sometimes a side chair.... more

I was recently at the Heartland Inn Airport for a convention. I was suprised at the amount of updating that was going on! I stayed at the Heartland as I was booked through a convention. The hotel personnel were absolute dolls, but the hotel itself is basically outdated, the pool area is shabby and overwhelming smells of chlorine permeate that part of the hallway. Great location, great breakfast, wonderfully comfortable beds, an indoor pool and exercise facility and most importantly an amazing staff make this my hotel of choice whenever I'm in the area. more
