My wife and I, along with her daughter's family, had planned a last minute trip to Nauvoo Illinois and ran into hotel availability problems. As a result, we chose the Iowan Motor Lodge due to how nice it looked on the hotel's website. Their website boasts "recently renovated" and claims to have nice clean, comfortable rooms along with the pictures... more
