Great location. Nice views of IA City. Service was pretty inconstant a couple of time when we called down to the front desk or room service no one picked up. Great rooms! They had a lot of space, each room has it's own kitchen and huge bathtub. It is the best possible location because it leads out into the main area where all the action is. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone. The gym is incredible, and at no extra cost to guests. more

This is my third stay at the Hotel Vetro and each stay has been great. The rooms are quite large and furnished in lean, clean style that's very appealing, even if you're not a modernist. Beautiful modernist dream in the heart of Iowa City. Adjacent to the Sheraton on the pedestrian mall. Excellent room with concrete floors and very comfortable bed. Not really full service hotel, but bar and restaurant in lobby are tops. Have the bartender make you a pear martini. Yum! more

Nice rooms, great bathrooms, the suites are absolutely marvelous. Views of the mall in downtown Iowa City. Excellent deli and wine store downstairs. Clearly the best pet friendly hotel in Iowa and maybe in the upper midwest. Worth every bit of $140+. more
