Everything worked: wifi, tv, microwave/fridge in room. Reasonably clean, though the less obvious places, like the window sill, hadn't been dusted in ages. Terrible bed. Bad towels; no hand towels at all. Sparse decorations. Better public areas than the Microtel across the street, but worse rooms. It's OK for a night, but set your expectations low. more

The weekend was a last minute booking for pleasure and as Independence doesn't have much to offer in the way of hotel space, we didn't have much luck in finding anything better available. I spent two months in Independence, Kansas and stayed at the Super 8. It was very clean and the people were excellent. Should I be needed there again would certianly choose this motel. more
