I booked this hotel using credit card points ($72 worth) via expedia. The site does an excellent job selling you their establishment with well docotored photos, however, it leaves something to be desired. The lobby is indeed well appointed and that's where it ends. Rooms are sorely outdated and worst of all a smell you just can't eliminate. I opened... more

We stayed at the Ramada Inn on March 29, 2008. We booked two rooms on our way home from FL. It was not our first choice, but the motels we previously tried to book were full and we got a good rate ($59 plus tax). I had my reservations about staying at Ramada because it was an older hotel and... more

I have stayed at ths hotel in th past and could not believe all of the great changes they have done. This place is totally new! I read the recent reviews and was concerned, however I will come back again and again now. The plush beds are outstanding! This hotels offers full service with live entertainment at prices better that... more

It's a pity that I cannot give a zero to illustrate our dealings with this excuse for a hotel. Our first problem was on arrival. We were given our room which, upon entry had no lighting working and the curtain was hanging down off its rail. We were made to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes while this was... more

The whole building my room was in stunk of old cigarettes even though they were non-smoking rooms. The hotel needs lots of updating. It was amazingly quiet though, I don't think another guest was staying in same wing of the hotel as me. The photos on all the travel websites are well doctored to make it appear nice and modern,... more

I had read some reviews and was a little worried, but I was very pleasantly surprised. We had two poolside rooms, they were both very clean and comfortable. Yes, the hotel is older, but the rooms were clean, the staff very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again! more

This Ramada is in need of renovation. The locks on the entry doors to the building were popped out. The room smelled like burnt hair. The sheets were yellow. There was a big hole in the shower wall. I was checking to see if they had bed bugs and when I lifted up the mattress there were disgusting brown stains... more

FIRST OF ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE SAYING WHAT A GREAT PLACE IT WAS ARE THE HOTEL OWNERS no doubt- OR THERE WAS A SECTION IN THE HOTEL FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE RAMADA GOLD CARD HOLDERS OR SOMETHING. I FEEL for the lady who was up all night. I was down for a softball tourney and had another player... more

Ramada needs to visit their properties occasionally. We found sullen desk employees, stained carpets, AC that worked poorly, shower head that leaked, etc. For those non-smokers, the breakfast is done in their nightclub. Smells like stale smoke. We'll find another hotel for our next visit to Bowling Green!! more
