During my trip to the Lexington Hyatt it appeared they were beginning a renovation process. If so, it's a good thing. This hotel barely met the base standard for a Hyatt or similar chain. The folks at the front desk were courteous, but not what I'd call warm. I had a quick check in and then went to my room.... more

My family and friends were in town for a baseball clinic and I had reward points to use, so a free night. I thought this would be a great chance to try out the new rooms at the hyatt since I hadn't stayed there for 12 years due to nasty rooms and no up keep on a place fine enough... more

We stayed one night last weekend to attend the Keith Urban concert at Rupp Arena. Location was great for that reason. Elevators were fast and the bed was comforable. However, we had six rooms, all on floor five, a smoking floor. Yuck, yuck, yuck. Our room was the worst in smell and we should have switched but thought it would... more

I accompanied my husband on a 4 nights stay at the Hyatt for a conference taking place in the Lexington Center. The hotel is advertising its April 2008 arrival of newly renovated rooms. Unfortunately, we received a room that was not yet renovated, but we found it to be sufficient. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and we had... more

Well, after booking with Hotwire I read some of the reviews of the hotel and got scared. However, my experience was great. We arrived at the Hyatt around 11:30 pm and after a long day of driving from Florida I was in no mood to wait to check in like at another hotel a week before. Check-in only took about... more

Our family just returned from a fun 3 night stay. We stayed very comfortably in the newly renovated Hyatt. We stayed in one of the brand new rooms and it was clean, neat, modern and very comfortable. The new large flat screen TV was appreciated by our teens. Local TV channels were HARD to find---the TV set up is designed... more

Although Hyatt is a brand known for high standards, this hotel is dated and hasn't been brought up to the latest standards. The lobby is attractive and the bar is quite lively, especially on game nights. When entering the room, it was slightly smaller than your average room. The bed was quite comfortable, but the linens were dated. Bathroom amenities... more

We wish to stress that the hotel has location as its main asset. Upon arrival, 90 minutes after check in time, we had to wait for a clean room. Upon inspection the room was not as clean as I would have liked. I found an earring in the middle of the floor, therefore the carpet was not clean.. The remote... more

After reading the reviews on this hotel that Priceline booked for us I wanted to cancell, but my husband said how bad could a Hyatt actually be, so we went only to find out that all of the reviews were true. It smells of must and dirt. We would not dare walk on the floors with our socks or flip... more

Our stay at the Hyatt was not a good experience and definately not what I expect from a chain hotel who prides itself on being one of the best. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the rest of the hotel was a mess. Upon entering our room we quickly noticed the carpet was heavily stained and worn, the... more
