We happened on this hotel during a long drive from the Gulf Coast to our home near Kansas City. We've generally had good luck with HI Expresses, but this is by far the best one we've stayed in. We have family in Paducah and generally travel there a couple of time a year. This hotel is generally very clean, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is always very courteous and helpful, and the included breakfast is a step above the typical "Continenal" fare - sausage and gravy/biscuits and hard-boiled eggs are also available. The Holiday Inn Express Paducah is where we stay every year we make the trip from Georgia to Missouri. With a great indoor pool and hot tub, plus freshly baked cookies with milk or hot chocolate (every evening), there's no way I could even get my family to consider another hotel!!! We stayed at the hotel on our way to Orlando Fl.and picked it at random out of all the other lodging at this exit. We were pleasantly surprised as soon as we walked in. The interior was spotless and so were the rooms. The rooms were very large and each contained a sofa, refrig, microwave and it still wasn't crowded.... more
