The hotel is very quaint but not on the water. There are no walking trails around it so you are pretty confined to your room and the common areas. We stayed in one of the suites which was nicely decorated but rather small for the lofty price tag. During our stay my husband needed to go to a hospital and... more

My husband and I stayed at the white barn inn for 2 nights after our wedding. The White Barn Inn is an amazing place. I was a little unsure of staying there after reading the reviews, but I can honestly stay it was one of the best places we have ever been. Well worth every penny. We booked a garden... more

Stayed in a tiny room in the inn - tiny but perfectly comfortable and clean. Loved the restaurant, food was delicious and the people couldnt have been more helpful ( NB. average clientele in their 50s). Had a fantastic time and hoping to go back soon. more

Apparently there has been some drastic change in this inn's management. Service and accomodations were what we might have expected at a one star, low-budget roadside motel. What had been described as a charming waterfront cottage, was in fact overlooking a mud-pit. The odor was so foul it was impossible to sit outside on the patio, and windows had to... more

Simply amazing. My wife and I spent a weekend at the Inn and had dinner at its restaurant one night. The Inn was beautiful, and we both agreed that it was one of the best dinners that we have ever had. It was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. more

We were only able to stay 1 night but we enjoyed every minute. Our room was comfortable, the staff pleasant and our dinner at Grissini memorable. more

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. It was our second time visiting. It was so amazing. The first time i went it was for our 1st anniversary. We were only 22, we loved it. But we felt a little uncomfortable. At 28 we went back and loved every minute of it. Yes its pricey, but its so... more

My husband surprised me for my 40th birthday with a weekend at the White Barn Inn. We had the guest chef package which included a cooking demonstration/class and an 8 course meal. Chef Cartwright and Guest Chef Tony Dawodu both welcomed us when we arrived for a cocktail reception. They had a lovely canape selection prepared along with a wine... more

This was our second visit to the White Barn. My boyfriend and I had spent a long weekend here during the summertime and wanted to come back and experience its winter magic. It was just as delightful as our first visit. When we checked into our Garden room we had a bottle of Champagne waiting on ice with a personal... more

All of the snow in Kennebunkport this December enhanced our holiday experience. The Inn was beautifully decorated; the staff made us feel very comfortable and were helpful in planning our precious time in the area. We slept right thru breakfast, but dinner was every bit as wonderful as we hoped it would be. more
