My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary with a relaxing long weekend in the Birkshires. The experience was wonderful, and it would not have been the same if not for the Hampton Terrace. Stan (the Innkeep) goes out of his way to familiarize you with the area, and makes a hearty breakfast. If not for Stan, we might... more

Looking for peace, tranquility and the perfect blend of Old World opulence and optimal modern amenities? Then look no further. Hampton Terrace is it! From the impeccably restored guest rooms in the antique-laden main house to the spacious king suites (equipped with four-poster beds, cloud-like comforters and jacuzzis) out back, you will not find comparable comfort and joy anywhere. Inkeepers... more

We stayed in the King Suite which contained a jacuzzi, sink, small refrigerator, gas fireplace, loveseat & good sized bath. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. The jacuzzi was roomy enough for two and the jets were not too overwhelming like some can be. It was also located quite practically on a tiled area not on the rug.... more

I selected the Hampton Terrace after reading such positive reviews on TripAdvisor, and it's all true - this B&B is incredibly charming and lovely! My friend and I were greeted by Stan who gave us a nice tour of the grounds and showed us to our room. He also introduced us to Atticus the dog and gave us information and... more

What a find Hampton Terrace is! From the time you walk in and are greeted by Stan, the innkeeper, and the winding staircase, you feel a sense of WOW. I was lucky enough to get a tour of the inn, and got to visit many of the rooms. They're all fabulous. The Carriage House King Suites have everything you might... more

My wife and I recently spent a weekend at this bed and breakfast, arriving in the middle of a snowstorm and without reservations. The owner welcomed us warmly and showed us around. Our room in the Carriage House was clean and cozy and well worth the price. The owners continued to be helpful and friendly all weekend and our experience... more

Stan welcomed us -- the writer, the director, and the cast of Shakespeare & Company's production of An Impossible Life -- for two wonderful nights and days while we were in rehearsal and during the performance of the play. And then hosted a great cast party. We will be back. Frequently. In fact, we're hoping he'll adopt us! Could not... more

We stayed for 3 days at the Hampton Terrace and it was a wonderful experience. Stan and Susan were great hosts and made our time there very relaxing. The accomodations were excellent and I would (and already have) highly recommend this property to anyone travelling to the area. Thanks again to the Rosens. Kit and Kathy Rousseau more

We had a lovely time at the Hampton Terrace. The accommodations were relaxed and quiet (we stayed in King Suite 3) ,and the breakfast was simply phenomenal. The owners were quite helpful in answering questions about the area. Lenox turned out to be a beautiful village and a perfect location for exploring Mass and Vermont and seeing the Fall foliage.... more
