I have been meaning to share my vacation here for a while , The other day I was talking to a freind and got reminded of our horrific vacation at the Pilgrim Sands! The location is great but the staff was not. We have twin 4 year old boys and two girls ages 9 and 14. We booked this place... more

We were looking for a base in this area so we could make day trips to both Boston and Cape Cod. We considered the large chains but were put off by the reviews we read, the poor position and also the lack of availability in August. From this point of view the hotel is in an ideal position on the... more

needed to getaway with my 21 month old. This place was perfect. Even though the beach isn't available all the time, when it is there, it's a treasure trove - hermit crabs, starfish, rocks, seagulls. I had to pry my son off the beach in the early morning during low tide and in the evening to sleep. When the beach... more

This was our first stop on a week long road trip up to New Hampshire. The view of the ocean is wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and informative. The rooms were not fancy or modern, however, they were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was also great with toast, cereal, fruit, danish, bagels and oatmeal. We only stayed one... more

I stayed at the Pilgrim Sands based on reviews from this site. My son and I were visiting schools in the Boston area and thought it would be fun to see the Plymouth Plantation and Rock. The motel was clean, simple and a fair price. We upgraded to a spacious double with ocean view in the newer wing (north). It... more

For our annual family vacation, this year we chose New England. We searched for a central location that would allow us to venture off for the day to see a variety of sights but would also be a pleasant place to relax that offered views of its own. The Pilgirm Sands provided us with everything we were looking for, and... more

We travelled to Plymouth by coach, and getting a taxi to the Pilgrim Sands proved to be quite a challenge, but if you have your own transport it is really easy to reach and is really handy for the Plantation - it is more or less opposite. Our room was overlooking the sea, and had huge wide windows with a... more

If you are expecting a huge white sandy resort-style beach, then you will certainly be disappointed. For us, the beach at the Pilgrim Sands was even better! Admittedly, it was not convenient to deal with the high tide/low tide situation, but when the tide was out it was great. The sea-life left behind by the tide was a wonderful surprise... more
