We stayed at one of the lighthouse lane cottages in August of 2007 and really enjoyed it. We brought our Golden Retriever and he also loved it. My husband and I stayed at Lighthouse Lane Cottages last weekend in celebration of our 40th Anniversary. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a basket with a bottle of wine, popcorn, bottled water and trail bars. We had a fantastic time. As a former resident of the town, I prefer Rockport, Massachusetts in the off-season months, such as when I stayed at the Lighthouse Lane Cottages in November 2005. Although there is no dining facility or service to speak of, because the cottages are privately owned, I loved the quiet and privacy of the stay. My cottage had a wood-burning fireplace... more
