If you want to spend zero time in the room, including the night, then this place could be okay. We rolled into the all gravel parking lot and walked into the office to find that our rate was misquoted when I booked the reservation over the telephone. The Surf and Sand was a great place for the money. It is close to the ocean and beach with beautiful views from all rooms. The building is older but was very clean with everything working well. Surf and Sand was perfect for a deck view of the ocean, accessibility to a walk on the beach, hearing the waves, seeing the sea gulls and enjoying what Cape Cod is meant to be. We rented rooms at the Surf & Sand. First, in their defense- for the price and waterfront what do you expect??? The location is fabulous, right on the beach. My wife and I just stayed at the S&S Hotel. We were looking for a beachfront place to stay for our anniversary. We found S&S from the Internet. I have always been taught to say that if you cant say anything nice then dont say it at all. I need to warn you unless you are homeless and it is really cold, Stay away.
