Been going to the Village Green for 3 Augusts in a row ('04, '05, and '06) and want something a little more this time. The owners are nice and lots of regulars go there year after year. Quaint. But, no A/C is annoyiing. The pool was not clean (plenty of hair and floaters). The room also smelled like garbage one... more

been going there for over 10 years owners are very normal people and the staff is very helpfull. It is great for families . It is very well secure. .You can live without air cond. IT IS NOT the Ritz. but the ambiance is great. Bev & doris go out of their way to assist you more

The rooms smell funny and sheet look like they havn't been washed for weeks. Also, the front deck was very insulting. more

We have been staying at the Village Green for 3 years now, and we love it. As another traveller said, if you are looking for a true resort atmosphere, this is not for you. This is the only hotel on the cape without AC's. Stop being so cheap! That place hasn't been updated since '72. A fresh coat of paint doesn't count! The only saving grace is the walk to the Skipper Lookout lounge!! more
