While the weather gets hot hot hot in the south during this time, August in Northern Michigan is much more mild, but sunny, and spending time on the beach and in the water is the best way to cool down. There were nice restaurants nearby, but the cottage had a full kitchen and a BBQ grill and we enjoyed eating... more
