Sadly we only had one night at Onguma Tented Camp. It was extremely comfortable and very well run. The tents are well laid out and carefully designed. The food was the best we found in Namibia. David and Sandra from Zimbabwe who are managing it made us very welcome. I could not recommend it more highly. more

The main building whilst seemingly disorganised actually offers one plenty of privacy and space at the same time - especially when you consider that there are never going to be more than 24 guests. We upgraded to tented camp from the bush camp and were so glad we did. The tents are stunning, about 7 of them surrounding a small waterhole which was visited by small antelope, warthogs and porcupine's during our stay. We have just spent two nights at Onguma and it was our favourite stop. The accommodation, staff, food and ambience were all perfect. We felt extremely welcome and were very well looked after. The service was superb. We would definately recommend and hope to return again soon. more

We stayed at Onguma lodge for two days as part of a longer tour of Namibia. The lodge is located near the east gate of the Etosha national park and is therefore very well placed for visiting the park each day. Stayed for two nights, upgraded from Onguma Lodge which was rather basic. very stylish place with cooking worthy of top restaurants in Cape Town (though four courses too much!). Tents were isolated enough for a feeling of privacy with lovely claw-footed bathtubs. Did not find the manager very pleasant but you can avoid him. The one thing to watch out... more

The place was exactly as we hoped it would be for our wedding anniversary! Loved the tented camp, the design, the waterhole and the calmness and romantic feeling.
