This was our third time in Saugatuck and our first time at the Bayside Inn. The location absolutely could not be better. We were in a suite (#7) and could sit in the living room, kitchen or on our patio and look at the Kalamazoo River and the boat traffic. While a communal hot tub is right outside that room,... more

Stayed in the large room at the top of the stairs on the 2nd floor with a deck overlooking the Huron river. The king sized bed was comfortable with good blankets. The shower was a little less than I expected. Otherwise everything else was pretty much what was expected. The staff was enthusiastically friendly. I was here before the summer... more

My husband and I stayed at the Bayside Inn for two nights this past weekend and had a great experience. We booked suite #8 on the second floor. It had a wonderful view overlooking the river, great natural light, a fireplace, a TV with a DVD player, a large outdoor balcony, and a kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge /... more

We stayed at the Bayside Inn in July for a week as part of a tour we were taking around the lake. Of all the places we stayed this was the best by far. We rented a suite with a deck out on to the river and the view was fantastic. The inn is near enough to downtown and the... more

We stayed in suite #7. The bedroom looked out over the street and the living room/kitchenette look out over the river. All rooms including the bathroom were nice size. This unit is on the ground floor so just beyond our patio was some beautiful foliage & the hot tub but if you want an unobstructed view of the river, the... more

We stayed at the BaySide Inn this July and had a wonderful time! The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and spacious. We rented a waterfront suite with a nice big deck overlooking all the boats passing. I have to say that's where we spent a great deal of our time; soaking up the sun and people watching. We also took... more

We stayed in Room Four for two nights and loved it! This was our first experience staying in somewhere other than a hotel. It took some getting used to the happy innkeeper since we prefer to be "anonymous" when traveling, but no one here was pushy and we were treated very respectfully. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the... more

We just returned from a trip to Saugatuck, and we stayed at the Bayside Inn. It is bright and clean, and its location is unrivaled. Our room was on the third floor, and we had a wonderful view of the harbor. The inn is located within walking distance of the shopping area, and during the peak season (we stayed off-peak),... more

We stayed here for one night in late August, 2005. We stayed in room 5, which was the least expensive room. It was small and basic, though comfortable. I would say it needed a bit of updating, as some of the bathroom fixtures were old. It was very clean and all functioning, however. All rooms in the Inn have balconies.... more

We have stayed here a few times and find the the location to be unbeatable. You can walk to all of Saugatuck's attractions, plus you're right on the river. The room we stay at is suite #9. It has a vaulted ceiling with skylights, a full kitchen, dining table, living room, gas fireplace, seperate bedroom and sliding doors that open... more
