Overall, I liked this property. A very convenient downtown location, just 3 blocks from the Nicollet Mall Light Rail stop, and very close to shopping, restaurants, and convention center. The room is very spacious with a kitchette and sitting area. I found the room to be clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Nothing special on decor or furnishings. The only qualm... more

Superior staff at the front desk. Helpful with directions and assistance. Friendliest bunch I have ever encountered. Special thanks to Lacy for her suggestions and assistance. Minneapolis is a great city and Residence Inn is a great place to stay. Very walkable city with plenty of restaurants. Very near Nicollette Mall (pedestrian friendly street that runs from Convention Center up... more

Noticed they claimed someone else confused this property with the Depot nearby. I have stayed at both and do know the difference. The Depot is modern, clean, immaculate, granite countertops and helpful caring staff. The residence inn room I had was "dated", broken laminate countertops. When I asked if they had a better room the "manager" didn't seem to care... more

Stayed there for a night in December 2007. The room was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Minneapolis. more

This is probably the most comfortable, and most spacious hotel room I have stayed in. It makes me want to stay in Residence Inn's wherever I travel! Large s-o-o-o comfortable king bed, across the room there is a couch, arm chair and coffee table. The tv is situated between the two areas on a dresser and swivels back and forth.... more

My girlfriend and I had tix for Jeff Foxworthy at the Target Center. The location was perfect, and Sarah at the desk was very personable and helpful, she gave us quite a few pointers. We loved the room on the 14th floor, and it had everything we needed. Parking would have been $18, but we were advised that if we... more

This is your typical Marriott Residence Inn with adequate furnishings, new bedding, good breakfast, and this is a superb location in downtown Minneapolis. In and out parking is $15/day (the deck is the first few floors of the hotel but not owned by the hotel). If you tour around the city by car be very careful where you park and... more

The location of this hotel was superb! It was just steps away from the Target Center and about 1/2 mile walk from the Metrodome (Go Twins!). The Nicollette Mall was right next door. I don't think there could have been a hotel better located than this. The parking garage was accessible from the hotel without having to walk outside. The... more

The hotel is the picture of My idea of Minnesota. The room, like the state was large, but sparse, a reasonable price, without alot of extras. The staff was helpful, relaxed, and gave us a toothpaste, as we'd left ours at home. We were 5 very clean blocks to the train. more

This hotel was thoroughly average, but quite expensive. To begin with, the rooms are tiny, with the bedroom barely having enough room to fit a queen bed (the only size they offer). On the plus side, though, the room itself was very clean. Next, although they told me they had a gym, I discovered when I got there that the... more

We are afraid that you may have mistaken the "Minneapolis Downtown" Residence Inn for the Residence Inn "At The Depot". Seeing as both properties are technically located in downtown Minneapolis, this mistake does happen all too often. The Residence Inn "At The Depot" is adjacent to the Courtyard (also "At The Depot") and is located along Minneapolis' Riverfront District. The...
