We did not stay here at the B&B, but we did eat dinner here. I have to say, the food was excellent and the portions were huge. I am a big eater and I could not finish my plate. As for there being nothing for children, this isn't an Applebee's. It's considered a fine dining restaurant. Bring your own crayons.... more

I stayed at Lulabelles from June 16 to 20. I found the facility charming and old fashioned just what a B & B should be. The owner/host Mike was very accommodating concerning the earlier breakfast time that I needed to arrive at class on time. Each day the breakfast menu varied and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I worried... more

There is absolutely nothing for the kids here. Since I cannot find a seperate listing for the Lula Belle's restaurant, I am posting it here. A year ago my organization hosted a retreat in the Hannibal area and had the food catered by Lula Belle's. I remembered that the food was absolutely fantastic so when we came back to Hannibal,... more

First of all, LulaBelle's is not a bed and breakfast, as it advertises itself to be. It is a small inn. So don't expect a B&B experience when you go there. Or, actually, even a small inn experience. Unless you count blatant disregard and sleeping in dusty ickiness an "experience." I arrived and stood in the foyer, which is also... more

My daughter and I visted Hannibal on a Mother/daughter day trip and really enjoyed the entire day. We ate lunch at LulaBelle's and would recommend this establishment to others. The service was great and the food was good. The setting of the dining area was very nice and comfortable. The restaurant is close to the downtown area so we walked... more

We were greeted by an unfriendly bar staff person who showed us to our room. The carpet was stained, walls cracked and the room was not welcoming at all. At this point we should have left, but thought we would give it a try....we started hearing the trains as we were getting ready to go to sleep, but by 1:30am... more

Since I was an English Lit major, I had wanted to visit Hannibal, boyhood home of Mark Twain, for a long time. Was finally able to fit it in this Christmas vacation and both the town and the B&B were well worth it. I wanted to stay somewhere special after a long drive across Kansas and Missouri, so I selected... more

As seasoned travelers we can honestly say that LuLaBelles is the worst place we have ever stayed. It is obvious the owners do not care. The furniture was stained, the ceiling is cracked and peeling, there were cobwebs in the windows, the towels were frayed and the linens were mismatched. The worst part though were the trains that ran ALL... more

LulaBelle's is a nice bed and breakfast in a great location in Hannibal, Missouri. It is about two blocks from the main Mark Twain stuff (though, to be honest, there isn't much Mark Twain stuff). As promised, certain second story rooms do have views of the river over the levee. The rooms were clean, the staff was wonderful, and the... more
