I have been to Vegas numerous times and stayed at various places. I decided to try out the Bellagio this most recent trip and was very much disappointed The Good: The dancing fountains and botanical gardens were very beautiful. Housekeeping staff was excellent. We luxuriated at the Bellagion for 3 nights on the 10th floor facing away from the lake. Next time we'll opt for the lake front side. On the back side of the hotel you see nothing but buildings and the highway. The front desk staff were extremely professional. The maid service was excellent. Great Hotel, service up to par with the expecations, and rate. Early check-in requested, but no room available. Check-in took too long. +- 30 minutes. Room with a view on the lake. Excellent view. Walking into this hotel is impressive. The lobby with the glass chandaliers are amazing!!! Our room was ok, nothing really to write home about....my opinion might be a little different if we had a lakeview, but we didn't. This is a hotel I have always wanted to stay at while in Vegas. My wife and I decided to take a last minute trip this past weekend using miles. This was our 2nd stay at the Bellagio. We splurged on a waterfront room and the view of the fountains was spectacular. The room however, was terrible.
