Went to The Orleans for 3 nights Apr 29-May 2, 2008. There was a group of 12 of us, and we needed to purchase an extra room upon arrival to fit all of us. The price they quoted at the desk was $150.00 more than the price I saw online, so I used their computer to book it at a... more

The Orleans was fine. The room was clean and there were no problems. If you expect the great things in life, its probably not for you.I stayed there because the evnt I was attending was in the Orleans. The bar, Don Miguels, has a happy hour every day with 99 cent margarettas and food. The quesadillas were really quite good.... more

We just got back from the Orleans. Vegas in general has lost its luster, since it has gotten so expensive to go there in general. (MGM MIrage just reported a 30% DECREASE in profit for the first quarter of 2008 - duh - people are fed up). Anyway, The Orleans is slipping in our opinion. Before Boyd bought it, it... more

this is the 3rd time staying at the Orleans and once again it was a wonderful stay, especially at $ 30.00 a night. I can't beleive that price. The last time I spent that much on a room was about 25 years ago in a motel 6. Rooms were clean and house keeping was always perfect. Ate at the buffet... more

My wife and I have stayed at the Orleans before and it always seems to be the right balance of convenience, price, amenities, and service. It's certainly not a Wynn or Bellagio, but then again, you're not paying for that kind of experience. It's a working class person's hotel and casino. We don't enjoy the hustle of the strip and... more

I have been to Las Vegas numerous times, but this was my first and last stay at The Orleans. Immediately upon entering the hotel lobby, the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. My eyes started burning and tearing up after just a few minutes. Check in was quick-about 5 minutes. I requested a quiet room and was accomodated. I proceeded... more

We had a very interesting stay for 3 nights at the Orleans. We usually stay at the Platinum (see my review), but got great rates at the Orleans so we'd give it a whirl. Check in was fast and efficient. The room was on the 12th floor overlooking the pool - more about this later. The room was clean and... more

If you’re looking for an off-strip option to the Las Vegas experience, The Orleans is a good choice. I’ve been going to Vegas for years and have always stayed on a strip property. However, I’ve grown tired of trying to find tables with less than $15 minimums (especially on busy days/weekends), so on the suggestion of a family member, I... more

Room: The room was really big with a view of the strip. The decor was slightly outdated and could have used a little bit of sprucing but overrall decent. However, the water coming out of the bathroom sink smelled like sewerage and we could smell it slightly in the room. There is internet access here but it is $12 per... more
