A nice hotel with smallish rooms (two beds and a nightstand), but the beds were comfortable and the room well lit for reading. There is a patio/balcony right outside, and since it faces the river, it's more pleasant to be out there anyways. It is a bit far from the nearest town and there is no cellphone coverage there. Having already stayed at the Kichu Resort in Paro and Riverview in Thimpu, our expectations had got re-aligned upwards, given that both hotels turned out to be much better experiences than what we had hoped for. But this resort still managed to stun us! It is easily one of the most well-located, and overall nicest, resorts I have stayed in.... more
