This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this Hotel. The rooms are okay. Nothing spectacular- the beds are just below average and all of the furniture is pretty uncomfortable, but okay. The only food you can get is breakfast and the quality of that buffet has gone down over the years, but it's still okay. The staff was... more

We stayed for two nights in May. The accomodation was faultless and the restort itself is quite pcturesque set in a golf course. Our room was large and comfortable and also good value. Each morning we got a free full breakfast buffet which was fine but what I found completely odd were the arrangements for the night. There is nowhere... more

We stayed for one night in May in a King Suite overlooking the resort's scenic golf course. Our room was very large and comfortable---one of the nicest rooms we stayed in on a 24-day trip---and also a good value. There is a free, full breakfast buffet, which was fine. Note that there is no dinner restaurant, but several restaurants are... more

We stayed at The Lodge at Sierra Blanca as part of a road trip in November 2007 and had a wonderful stay. Our room was a king studio suite and it was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. The whirpool tub was a nice amenity as was the fireplace that turned on/off at the turn of a switch! The mini kitchen... more

We stayed at this hotel in Aug '07 and are booked again for this summer. It is very reasonably priced, especially if you catch some of their specials that put the rooms about $30 cheaper than normal. It is a little farther away from central Ruidoso than some other hotels, but is still only a 3-4 minute drive from the... more

IT is a great place and best of all we can take our puppy! Beautiful Location and great appeal. If I go to... more

To get a reservations was a hassle... rude front desk personnel left on hold indefinately. When I checked in I got the same rude clerk, beware they charge an extra $20 per night deposit for telephone use!! Who uses hotel phones anymore?? When I questioned why they hadn't informed of this charged I got attitude.. duh.. that is why I... more

After a rough start on our four day getaway with another local hotel. A last minute booking for the rest of our stay at this hotel turned into the gem of our trip. Quick check in , Early check with no problems. Great beds, clean rooms. The lobby and the sitting area around the double fireplace is really a great... more
