We depend on the reviews we read on TripAdvisor to guide us to the most interesting of accomodations when we travel - and we were not disappointed this time!! The Historic Taos Inn is as unique as they come, and we would not have wanted to miss it. I love their marketing slogan - "Taos' living room"! When we first... more

My partner and I had a one night stay in the Taos Inn while passing through on the way to Santa Fe. We had room in the "Helen's House" section of the inn. The inn itself is a fascinating old building, with a lot of traditional features, and this is carried through to the rooms, which were beautifully decorated. The... more

I thought I had written a review, but guess I didn't. So, here's one a little late. We (couple with two small kids) traveled through Taos in late March 2008 and stayed here. We booked a double suite; it is a lot cheaper during the week than on the weekends. It was a good deal during the week, but I... more

Stayed at the hotel for two nights in a room in Helen's House. The room was nicely furnished and we did not have some of the difficulties with plumbing etc. recorded by others. This section of the Inn is relatively new and features huge bathrooms. That was the nicest feature of the room. The rooms are clean, adequately furnished and... more

We stayed st the Historic Taos Inn last week. We had a cute room in the Main Building. The room had two beds, a fireplace (which we didn't need in July) and a couch on a separate level., Spanish tiled bathroom and a little bar. Rooms in the Main building overlook the open lobby/Adobe Bar where live music is played... more

I loved this hotel. All the prior reviews are pretty much dead on about the pros and cons, but the location is perfect. This is a quirky little place in a quirky little town. The hotel definitely has some issues, but the location and charm outweigh them. I loved sitting in the courtyard and wandering around town. I will stay... more

The Taos Inn was a very nice hotel in the heart of the town within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Helen House which is the newest part of the hotel and is disconnected from the original structure. The room was smaller than we'd expected and did not have much natural light. The bathroom was... more

i stayed at the Taos Inn over 10 years ago and amazingly it had hardly changed! i stayed in the main building over the bar, which i thought might be too noisy, but was fine - apart from when the bands played of course. i sat outside my room on the balcony to use the WiFi, which was great as... more

The Historic Taos Inn is more than worth the money. The rooms are nicely furnished but slightly worn due to the age of hotel. However, the hotel has so much charm that there is no reason to be put off with a few dings here and there. What is great about the hotel is that it is located in the... more

We enjoyed 2 nights at the Taos Inn. The rooms were recently updated with new bathrooms and electronics (WiFi in lobby and nearby). The ambiance seemed authentic old 'New Mexico' and the location (near the Plaza) was ideal for leaving our car in the lot. One excellent attachment was Doc Martin's restaurant. Excellent Southwestern cuisine at decent prices (try the... more
