The Quality Inn seemed like it was going to be a dump at first. The sign was new and not fully completely on. The walkway to the lobby smelled a bit like a hospital. But, when we got into the lobby we started to see how nice the Quality Inn actually is. The lobby is nice. Cookies, coffee, vending machines,... more
My husband and I stayed at the Quaity Hotel in East Syracuse on June 6,2008. It was a very pleasant stay while we were there. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning ladies were wonderful people. There was coffee and tea there at all times. The continental breakfst was excellent. If I ever have to be in Syracuse again... more
I took a bit of time out for myself and stayed at the Quality Inn for one night. They were very accommidating to my needs. Everyone was very friendly and curtious. Its a nice little hotel to stay in. There are many close restaurants and its not far from downtown either. more
Stayed here to shop in Syracuse and the Waterloo outlets. This hotel is one of the original Fairfield Inn's so you have to walk to outside to get to your room. Our room had all the basics including cable TV and Pay movies. Free continental breakfast was above average and the staff was helpful. more
You know the feeling,it's getting tired, you've driven 500 Km's already that day and all you and the family want is to get a clean decent place,to shower, grab a bite and crash! We chose the Fairfield INN off the I-90 in Syracuse, out of the c 15-20 other options, due to the Marriott name - we had just stayed 2 great nights in... more
OK the bed itself is big and comfy and the sheets are clean. It does not change the fact that the rooms are small and very dated, the bathroom is dark and dingy. The worst part is the heater and A/C unit. It is next to your ear and it is so noisy that falling and staying asleep is a... more
This is one of the "originial design" Fairfields: first two floors exterior and third floor interior corridors. This hotel has been maintained pretty well and everyone here was friendly but the rooms are small and the bathrooms absolutely claustrophobic! High Speed internet required special user name and password and cut in and out, not satisfactory. Pleanty of restaurants within walking... more
My husband and I live about 45 minutes east of Syracuse, but came out for the weekend to do some shopping. We love Marriott hotels and usually stay at the Couryard or Renaissance whenever we travel. This time we decided to try the Fairfield Inn,however, and we were pleasantly suprised. We arrived at 3:10 ( check in is at 3pm).... more
We arrived at the Syracuse Airport around 11pm and were pleased that the hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport. I needed to pick up additional travelers about 2:30am and the drive was a cinch. Hotel is just off the NY Thruway. 2 1/2 hours to Niagara Falls; less than two hours from Cooperstown. Room was small, but clean.... more
