We stayed in one of the suites in the annex, which looks nothing like the quaint house on the web site. The room was large, complete with a kitchenette, and a fold-out couch for the kids. My wife and I spent a relaxing weekend in Lake Placid and we certainly enjoyed using the Brooks B&B as a home base. Our hosts, Joe and Bernadine, provided many helpful tips on places to eat as well as things to do. They are a nice couple who worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Bernadine and Joe went always out of there way to make sure my family had a great stay in Lake Placid. They always had good tips on where to eat or places that the kids might like to see. Excellent Hosts! more
