Clean. Helpful staff. Good value! I was there with 15 others and we all liked the hotel. Would stay there again. Free shuttle bus stops every hour at the Econo Lodge -- runs til about 10 pm. more
I was at the Econo Lodge for a week to attend a conference. Although I did not choose this hotel/motel, it did not live up to all the dire comments by other posters. Yes it is in need of some updating - like changing the upholstery on the chairs - or better getting some comfortable chairs and some new bed... more
Ok, I understand I am up here to play Rugby, but this room was a tad dirty. The vent fan in the bathroom had so much stuff sticking to it, dust ect that it was foul to look it. The carpeting, chairs (see pics) were in dire need of a cleaning or even better replacing. I picked the Econ Lodge,... more
We stayed during the Ironman weekend. Nice room, clean, fridge, nice pool, in and out. Great spot to watch race. more
For X-mas week 2006 seemed like a good deal compared to other properties in the area. It was indeed. Room was of resonable size, clean, new towels and cleaning every day. No fridge, but the rarely traveled balcony was just as good for our cooler. Travelers should realize, that property is not on main street of the town. Consequently, I... more
We stayed here 3 years ago, and was pleased besides the fact the pool had dark green water, This year was a little different. The decor and bedding is way outdated. There was rust on the bathroom ceiling, and the main door had touch up paint in 2 different colors. We were dissappointed there was not a microwave or fridge.... more
This hotel is about 1.5 miles out of town. It's a solid 2* property. Nothing more. Nothing less. They have rooms 'motel style' (entrance outside), and rooms hotel style (hallways). My room, #201 was motel style. It's a nice sized room. The furniture and tv are slightly dated. My wife would hate it; but since I was alone, it didn't... more
That about explains it. I have stayed in alot of hotels (I traveled through Europe for 4 months staying in a different hotel in a different city every 2-3 days) and this was by far the worst. Everything in our room (both rooms, we requested a new room because the first was disgusting, the other room was actually worse) was... more
The guest complained the second night of his stay of noise in the hallway. Our personnel on staff tried to quiet some of the rowdier and louder guests in the hotel. During his stay, the guest never complained to anyone about his alarm clock not working or the remote control not working. The guest was compensated for the inconvenience of...
We just got back from a 2-night stay at the Econo Lodge. Hard to beat $115USD (all included) for 2 nights. It is definitely not peak season, but going through Expedia, there was no better rate for anything else. The Hotel is not on Main street, but is very central. It's less than a five minute drive to main street.... more
