I had stumbled on this website right before we were to go to the YC and was filled with concerns I did note that most of them were not current and theYC has changed hands. It was wonderful. the staff was friendly and helpful the accomodations were beautiful. We were right on the waterfront. I am writing this because I... more

All I can say is believe EVERY bad review you read for this hotel. They claimed that they remodeled the entire hotel, but after spending a weekend there, I find that very hard to believe. The rooms were dark and dingy. The grounds were worn down. I don't mind paying the price for luxury and all the amenities, but this... more

MYC is a luxury, tranquil, wonderful place to stay. We had large rooms with a private balcony overlooking the quayside which was filled with luxury yachts. The rooms had a high level of finish with all the mod cons of fridge, safe, TV, coffee making & toilettries, there was also a spacious walk in wardrobe. The hotel/club facilities were fabulous,... more

I recently was married at MYC and would not recommend it to any future couples. In the year leading up to the wedding they went through 3 wedding planners and the final one left the position two weeks before the wedding. Here is a short list of the shortcomings: -3 weeks before the wedding they didn't realize our wedding was... more

Just returned from a one night stay at the MYC. Rooms are very basic and in desperate need of a renovation, the hotel has a large sign when you check in depicting the new renovated rooms (2009). My room overlooked the parking lot which was fine since I was on business and by myself, problem is that I paid $226... more

Definitely not worth the money they charge. The grounds are nice but once in our room we felt like being in some cheap motel that has not been renovated since the early ninety’s. We could hear the people in the next room and above us. Worst of all, they have infestation issues; there were ants all over the bathroom floor.... more

Had a great bargain on a room at Montauk Yacht Club. Great room, great prize. But unfortunately we could not use the indoor pool, because there was no lifeguard on duty. Very strange, we are adults. That was the only problem here though. more

I just returned from a short stay at the Montauk Yacht Club for a business offsite. For a business retreat in the offseason, it worked well because there were few other guests, limited distractions and plenty of space. We had a nice conference room with a balcony overlooking the water. The rooms are mediocre. Mine had a decent view from... more

We felt like we were a million miles from home. The service, the facilities, and the food were all excellent. The accommodations were the icing on the cake for a great day of 'Sunday Driving' including several wine tastings, some surf, and the worlds greatest lobster rolls in Amagansett. We arrived late and the staff at MYC was very accommodating.... more
