The Pines is a wonderful retreat with the owners the best innkeepers. Mary greeted us and we instantly felt at home. The rooms are peaceful and simple decorated. The Inn is over 200 years old and a beautiful home. Mary cooked the most delicious breakfast. The Inn is overlooking the valley with cow pastures. A very peaceful retreat. Brevard is... more

The owners and their daughter went out of their way to make us comfortable and to see to all our needs. They were SUPER nice people and we enjoyed talking with them. The B&B was very clean and the breakfast each morning was excellent. The view was awesome and we were totally relaxed. We loved the old house. The only... more

After reading all the reviews, I thought I had found a great place. True, the location/view is pastoral, and the porch is very nice, but there were lots of draw-backs. The owners are in their early 80s and were excellent hosts. (The son should be seen and not heard, as he gave a prime example of why relations should not... more

Mary and Tommy, the innkeepers, make you feel like you are family. One of our best times was sitting on the screened front porch one Fourth of July evening, chatting with Tommy, Mary, and others, and watching the fireworks. I have stayed at the Pines over a 12-year period and have sampled all the accommodations, the cabins and the hotel.... more

Two couples stayed in the "Gateway" cottage which had two bedrooms, two baths, a living room and kitchen. It had a lovely porch with rocking chairs overlooking pastures and mountains. It is a rustic cabin but clean and inviting. This is more of a B&B than a hotel. The main house has 18 rooms each with a private bath. A... more

Absolutely the best experience ! The whole visit was magnificent and the breakfast each morning are incredible. Took two children 8 & 10, and the encounters in the evenings with the fireflies from our front porch was a front row seat to natures' best light show. Tom & Mary ( Innkeepers ) are the best ! And the history and... more

I continue to stay at this inn year after year. The location and atmosphere can not be beat. You might even get a late night snack courtesy of Mary(homemade brownies a la mode) if you're lucky. Breakfast is delicious also and the best view is from the upstairs screened in porch of the main house. Wonderful place and wonderful people... more

We stayed @ the Pines Country Inn the last weekend of August. We have booked another weekend mid-October. Tommy & Mary are the most wonderful people. They make you fell like one of the family. I would recommemed the Inn highly. more

I have hosted Men's Retreats at Pines Country Inn for the past 11 years. It would be difficult to find a better place to relax, enjoy each other's company and unwind from the stresses of work. Tommy and Mary McIntyre are wonderful, hospitable people who make the stay at Pines Country Inn a truly memorable experience! more
