I have been staying at the Ballantyne Resort since 2002 I guess. The resort is fabulous. Most of my meetings are downtown. It is about 20 minutes, depending on traffic can be a bit longer. The staff is great. There is a great little bar downstairs, good for a late evening drink after dining out. Rooms have enormous Moldings, great... more

Only stayed here one night for business, but was pleasantly surprised. The resort check-in was very quick and I was given a room on the 6th floor overlooking the golf course. The rooms are huge with two queen beds. Everything seemed new and fresh, including the carpet and paint in the hallways. The bathrooms are lovely with a spacious standup... more

My husband and I stayed at the Ballantyne on our wedding night as we had to catch a 6 am flight. The resort was just okay. Check-in was efficient and we were taken to our room. We had a comfy king bed, sitting area, armoir, tv, mini bar and decent bathroom. Our stay was fine, but for our wedding night,... more

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. The hotel is gorgeous, with beautifully appointed rooms. Fantastic customer service. The perfect wedding night experience. We ordered coffee in the morning and it was $12 however, so its not easy on the wallet. But, we also had a private car take us to the airport and they charged us... more

I’ve not given any hotel a five star rating during my years on TripAdvisor, until now. Mostly, The Ballantyne deserves it because of the level of service, which is among the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. It’s also due to the beautiful rooms and level of comfort you receive here. Check-in was a breeze. My partner and I were making... more

The Ballantyne Resort is an elegant hotel in a great section of Charlotte NC. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. All staff members were friendly and courteous with a respectful attitude fitting this hotel. The food in the two restaurants we tried was above average. The only complaint would be the location on a busy road. If... more

Crème de la crème of hotels! Top Notch! They have luxurious bedrooms and spacious marble bathrooms. Excellent food! Employees were very eager to assist and very professional. Indoor pools were a great treat. Would stay here again anytime! more

I stayed at the Ballantyne one night on a hop through Charllotte from Boston. Got in too late for dinner in the restaurant, but ordered up from their late night menu. Menu was pretty limited - mostly sandwiches and salads - but what we had was good. The room was very clean and spacious, and ice was already in the... more

Recently stayed at the Ballantyne Resort for 3 days on a seminar which was also held at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and clean, check in went smoothly, had a room on the 7th floor with a Balcony. And I stress "Had". After the first day of attending the seminar. I returned to my room, to find that my... more

I had no idea what to expect at the Ballantyne. From the valets to the conceirge I was super impressed by everyone. The room was amazing and I loved having a balcony. I wished I could have stayed more than one night. I do plan on taking another trip to stay a few nights in the near future. After staying... more
