Don't ever stay here.....I agree with everything all the others have said about this place being dirty and smelly, but in addition we ended up getting "Body Lice" and "Scabies" from this place that we are still not free of some 5 months later. Forget the medical bills, exterminator bills and vet bills etc. The owners refused to refund us... more

This place was the cheapest around.... but it is GROSS. There is a creepy white stain on the carpet, the shower has a ton of gunk on it, and the furniture is falling apart. It also STINKS. This was the worst place I have ever come across. Water was in the first room and the 2nd room he gave me was nasty stunk. Need update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And new mangement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check in was a nightmare for us. The first room the guy gave us was filthy! We were VERY disappointed with our stay at the HoJo in Durham. The whole hotel had a clammy, greasy feel. The lobby was disordered, random items strewn around the television (in front of which the attendant would lounge, watching to see if anyone would come in). I really loved this neat place. The staff was very very nice and friendly and made us feel at home. They had large rooms with nwe 27inch tv's, coffee makers, ironing boards and agreat breakfast. most new hotels dont have this at $99.99. We paid less than $50.00. I will always come back. more

Stayed here recently Aug 20-22. Very nice management, however make sure you look at your room before deciding to stay. Room 123 was terrible, moldy room walls. Took room 223 which was decent. This room looked as though recent redecorating was done. Room was clean, 1 bed which was comfortable, coffee maker and refrig. Housekeeping could leave a few more... more
