This hotel is fine if you are looking for basic accomodations. The room was clean, with a hair dryer and coffee pot in the room, but again, basic. Stayed in a first floor pet friendly rooms and found it to be very nice. Much above average for a pet friendly room. The location is fantantic, the staff friendly and helpful, and the room very nice. Plan on going back next year. Ocracoke is a wonderful island with great beaches and a charming little village. more

We have been to Ocracoke many times before and this year we stayed at the Anchorage Inn. It is a great location, reasonable prices, very clean room and comfortable bed. We had an end balcony view of the harbor. The staff people were extremely polite and helpful on ferry, restaurants, and fishing information. We enjoyed our stay very much. more

the room was filthy, the sink dripped all night, the a/c didn't work good and the bed was so uncomfortable i am still hurting 3 days later! the worst hotel stay ever.....and all the management had to say was...sorry! more
