Good, clean and very functional. Rooms have decent views into wine fields and a balcony to enjoy it. They are modern, spacious enough, well designed and well furnished. Good location and good amenities. Staff very helpful. Will stay there again. more

The location is fantastic the rooms all overlook a vineyard, you really could not ask for more. I think the rooms have been refurbished as they were very clean and modern. The pool is a decent size and heated so you can use it all year round. The restaurant location is great too but the breakfast was very poor quality... more

I needed some where special to propose to my now Fiancee and it lived up to all expectation. The most noticable thing about the resort is the friendly and genuine staff. They helped me in making my proposal a memorable one by assisting me with some handy tips and advice on how to set the beautiful spa suite with flowers,... more

If you want to explore the Barossa then this could be a good place to stay as it is located in the middle of the valley. The rooms are ok if a little tired (due a refurb in the next few years I would suggest). The restaurant is ok but not as good as it thinks it is. (Why serve... more

What a setting! It’s a great to place to stay when exploring Barossa. The only disappointing thing was that we hadn’t stayed long enough. The rooms are comfortable with great views over Jacob’s Creek wines in the distance. u There is a little kitchenette area for self-caterers – great if you get tempted with gourmet offerings from the valley. The... more

Hotel is very well sited in the Barossa Valley for trips to the wineries. Staff friendly and helpful. Noticed that the resort opened in 1999 (is next to a golf course). The rooms and restaurant (Harry's - highly recommended) look out to the nearby hills. The only negative is the quality of the beds and pillows - they are well... more

In Europe, all Novotels are virtually identical to each other - like other Accor brands they have a strong brand identity. This is not the same in Australia, where they are all different, thanks partly to the fact that many Novotels did not start out life as a Novotel. The one in the Barossa Valley was an All Seasons Resort.... more

We stayed here during the height of the summer season in 2008 when the daily temperatures averaged 35 and above. As you can imagine the pool came in very handy and it was the primary reason for choosing the hotel (rather than other boutique accommodation). We also had dinner at the Harry's restaurant and the food was above average and... more

This hotel is located in the heart of the barossa and there are many wineries nearby for sampling. The rooms are comfortable, and clean, and each of them has a nice view of the hills & vines from the balcony in the room. The bathroom is adequate, the shower is over the bath, and it is clean, however it is... more

Booked directly via the Hotel and they were happy to match prices on their internet if they changed prior to our arrival. We are a family of 4 so when they offered Breakfast for an additional $30 it was worth it especailly being a full buffet. Tanunda is quiet and great to drive to all the 52 wineries in the... more
