Our large party (20) were booked in to the Lindisfarne Hotel as it was the only place on the island big enough to take us. The welcome was apathetic and the service off-hand throughout our stay. But even though we had booked an ensuite room, there wasn't one available, the TV didn't work, there were crumbs on the tea tray from the previous occupant, and our room was not really serviced beyond supplying new teacups.
