“Woeful customer service, poor attitude to guests”

Upon visiting family in Bridlington, I booked three rooms for three nights at this hotel. The hotel was excellent and clean but the rooms rather small. The owners however were very unsociable. The husband tried to be sociable but the wife however was extremely rude. She greated me a hour before check in reminding me there is a notice by the door indicating we are not allowed to check in until after 1400hrs as they... more

When you tried to arrive prior to 2pm, my wife was indeed cleaning rooms in preparation for your arrival. Not child friendly in fact not people friendly!! The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and is very clean with good food, however they dont seem to want any guests to stay and mess it up!! The hotel is very pleasent and is ok if you just go for a day or 2, and is very good if... more

this hotel is def not family friendly,and there are too many rules and regulations to mention, there are rules and instructions pined up on the wall all over the place including on the front door telling you not to ring the bell to inform the staff you have arrived as they are busy so you cannot get any attention until... more

Thank you for your comments. We do ask guests not to arrive before 2pm. As a small guest accommodation we are busy preparing rooms etc for the arrivals of our next guests and we do need to try and eat something inbetween also. All our guests are well aware of this before they arrive. In terms of the 'other rules'...
