Checked in on a rainy afternoon this past Wednesday. Front desk person was very welcoming, and gave good directions to a grocery store (Giant, 1.5 miles to the east -- I think it's east, it's opposite direction from downtown) and to downtown (1.5 miles the other way). You don't even need to leave College ave. Very convenient location. Room was... more
Great hotel in a great location. Hotel is definately a nice choice. The rooms are very spacious and have a micro, frig and coffemaker. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. This hotel is just a few minutes from PSU. There was a wait for the restaurant so we did not eat in Harrisons' but it looked very nice. more
As others say, the rooms are clean, bright and big. Reception is friendly. Not often mentioned is the very good restaurant in the hotel. Excellent appetizers, imaginative entrees, and good desserts. more
Stayed here 3 nights. Room was large, modern and clean with a small refrigerator and a microwave. Beds were very comfortable. Ate in their restaurant one night. Food was good and service excellent. Had a problem one night shutting off the water in the bathtub as the handle was stuck in the "on" position. Maintenance came quickly and fixed it.... more

Nice on site (independent) restaurant for pleasant evening dining, and the area also doubles up for morning breakfast. Location is very close to PSU campus (<5 minutes), but on a quieter side of town... which is fine by me. Great business center.... more

We had the chance to stay at this hotel when our daughter visited Penn State in mid-May. Our room was on the first floor and near the entrance. The lobby is actually on the second floor. The pool was located just down the hall from our room. This made for a somewhat noisy evening but the clatter quieted down before... more
