Unlike other reviewers, I have never had a bad bed at the HGI Wilkes-Barre, and I stay there a few times a year (in-laws to visit nearby). Came on business, and found this hotel very nice with convenient parking close to many chain restaurants and Wal-Mart. The dial-a-comfort beds are hokie, but bearable. I recommend it when in the area. more

I work for the airlines and stay in hotels for a living. The customer service was amazing and the place was decorated so beautifully for Halloween but the beds were horrible. The price was outrageously expensive for a double bed with sheets so thin you could read through them. You can actually see the mattress through the paper thin sheets...disgusting!!!... more

My husband and I stayed here the night of Oct 4. As we walked into the lobby to check in, we noticed it was decorated beautifully for Fall and smelled like apples. (Good first impression!)
